- Unit Specifics: Our medical-surgical unit is equipped with the latest technology and staffed by a team of experienced healthcare professionals. We prioritize patient-centered care and strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for our patients.
- Patient Experience: As a Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work with patients who require medical-surgical care, including those with respiratory diseases, renal disease, and gastrointestinal illnesses. You will also have the opportunity to work with patients who require telemetry monitoring and other advanced care.
- Advanced Skills: We are seeking a Travel Nurse RN with experience in medical-surgical care, including experience with various respiratory diseases, renal disease, and gastrointestinal illnesses. You should also have experience with telemetry monitoring and other advanced care.
- Procedures: As a Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to perform a variety of procedures, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and providing wound care.
- Dress Code: Our dress code is navy blue scrubs.
- Requested Skill Set: Current RN license is required for this position.
- Must Have: Teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills are essential for this position.
- Scheduling Requirements: This position requires 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule, with a fall into holiday rotation.
- Floating Policy: This position falls into rotation with other staff.
- Number of Beds: Our unit has 30 beds.
- Patient Ratios: We maintain a patient ratio of 1:6.
- Unit Staffing: Our unit is staffed by Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretaries, PCTs, and Case Management.
- Equipment: Our unit is equipped with walkers, IV pumps, SCDs, and other necessary equipment.
- Documentation System: We use Meditech as our documentation system.
- Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach unit-specific policies and guidelines.
- General Hospital Policies: Please review our general hospital policies.
- Awards/Recognition: We are proud of our department's achievements and would like to share them with you.
