Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Specialist to work with various sheet metal fabrication equipment, including shears, press brakes, grinders, rollers, and saws. The position requires experience with reading blueprints, performing layout, tacking, and welding seams. This role has the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabricate custom parts for dust collection and ventilation systems using thin gauge stainless steel and aluminum.

Work with a variety of sheet metal fabrication equipment, including shears, press brakes, grinders, rollers, and saws.

Read and interpret blueprints to perform layout and fabrication tasks.

Perform tacking and welding seams to assemble custom parts.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and MIG welding.

Strong understanding of blueprints and fabrication processes.

Ability to work in a fast-paced metal shop environment with minimal supervision.

Willingness to cross-train and adapt to different fabrication needs and product requirements.
