Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Battery Plant Operator to join our team at Camel Energy Manufacturing Michigan. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our battery manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain complex equipment and machinery in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Monitor and control chemical processes to ensure high-quality battery production.
  • Collaborate with production control managers to optimize production workflows and meet quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime and ensure efficiency.
  • Work safely and adhere to all health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in chemical plant or sewage treatment related work.
  • Ability to use computers to perform data statistics work and analyze production data.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Physical stamina to stand for up to 12 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment

Our battery manufacturing facility is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will work with and near large machinery and equipment daily. You will be exposed to various health and safety hazards and will be required to adhere to all health and safety rules and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
