Position Details:
Type: Part-Time
Hours: 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM
Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday
Compensation: $21 per hour with an additional $1 per hour for weekend shifts

We also have opportunities for Per Diem Medication Technicians. Please express your interest to your recruiter if you prefer this option.

The Medication Technician plays a crucial role in addressing the healthcare needs of our residents while embodying our commitment to Person-Directed Care. This position ensures a secure and nurturing environment for residents, staff, and visitors, facilitating active participation in the daily life of our community. Responsibilities include coordinating with care partners and ensuring accountability for resident care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and document treatments for residents
  • Maintain effective communication with healthcare providers, pharmacies, and families regarding resident care
  • Prepare and submit shift reports
  • Uphold and advocate for the rights of each resident
Qualifications:
  • Current Medication Technician certification is advantageous
  • Current CPR certification is beneficial
  • Previous nursing experience in senior care, skilled nursing, or post-acute settings is preferred
