Additionally, the selected individual must be physically capable of handling the demands of this role throughout their shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather supplies from storage areas, organize the cleaning cart efficiently, and maintain orderly storage spaces to facilitate room cleaning.
  • Meticulously clean and disinfect windows, doors, walls, and fixtures throughout the facility, using ladders or stools as needed to reach high areas and maintain a pristine environment.
  • Scrub and sanitize shower walls and tubs, disinfect toilets and stall walls, and ensure public restrooms are hygienic and pleasant for guests.
  • Restock towels, soaps, and amenities in guest rooms, ensuring all necessary items are available for incoming guests.
  • Handwash various hard flooring surfaces to effectively remove dirt and stains.
  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and wall decor, including high areas such as vents and ceiling corners to eliminate dust and cobwebs.
  • Change bed linens, inspecting and replacing bedspreads and blankets as necessary, while ensuring cleanliness beneath mattresses and beds.
  • Monitor closet cleanliness, restock supplies like hangers and linens, and maintain organized closet doors and shelves.
  • Vacuum all areas, including rooms, hallways, and public spaces, ensuring thorough cleaning beneath furniture and in corners.
  • Regularly check door and window locks, promptly reporting any security concerns to management.
  • Inspect room amenities such as TVs, lights, and faucets to ensure proper functioning, reporting maintenance issues to the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Safeguard equipment, keys, and supplies to protect hotel assets.
  • Maintain a consistently friendly and courteous demeanor.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management.

Education and Experience

• A high school diploma is preferred.

• Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Basic understanding of cleaning practices, agents, and tools is beneficial.
