Job Title: Assistant Health Supervisor

Girl Scouts of Colorado is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Health Supervisor to join our team at Sky High Ranch. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing medical care and supervision to campers and staff, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical care and supervision to campers and staff, including administering first aid and responding to emergencies.
  • Develop and implement health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and illnesses.
  • Collaborate with the Camp Health Supervisor and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless healthcare services.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of medical incidents and treatments.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and campers to ensure a smooth and safe experience.
Requirements:
  • Current state medical provider license (LPN or RN), EMT, MA, or CNA required.
  • At least four years of college or post-high school work experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in recognizing common childhood illnesses and providing medical care in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Environment:

Sky High Ranch is a summer camp located at an altitude of 8,000-9,500 feet. The camp is situated in a remote area, and staff are required to live on-site in shared housing. The work environment is fast-paced and stimulating, with frequent exposure to inclement weather.
