We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse-Quality Clinician to join our team at Wellstar Health System. As a key member of our oncology infusion therapy team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the delivery of safe and effective treatment.
Responsibilities:- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other hazardous drugs to patients with malignant and nonmalignant conditions.
- Provide safe patient care with an understanding and awareness of age-appropriate and culturally aware needs.
- Address the patient/family biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and education needs.
- Serve as a clinical resource to nursing staff, operational leadership, and medical staff.
- Participate in data collection, pose relevant clinical questions, and proactively plan for the care of patients across the care continuum.
- Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Nursing.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing practice in direct patient care.
- Minimum 2 years of outpatient oncology nursing experience.
- Oncology certification preferred.
