We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Central Sterile Reprocessing Supervisor to join our team at Alice Peck Day Health Systems. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective day-to-day operations of the Central Sterile Reprocessing department.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the effective day-to-day operations of the Central Sterile Reprocessing department, making staffing and workload adjustments as needed.
- Convert strategic objectives into tactical operations, work systems, and processes that deliver value to customers.
- Create clear responsibilities for assigned team members and manage and develop assigned staff through human resource planning, hiring, training, supervising, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Document, stabilize, and control all core operating processes required to effectively manage assigned team members.
- Collaborate with internal customer teams to ensure core processes meet their needs.
- Improve all core operating processes to deliver required value to all customers while reducing waste and lowering cost.
- Create corrective action routines based on agreed standardized problem-solving methodologies that address processes that fall out of process control.
- Serve as department resource to assist and train staff by acquiring and maintaining subject matter expertise in all aspects of CSR operations.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as a $5000 sign-on/retention bonus for this position. The bonus is for full-time, external hires only, and certain conditions apply.
