Diesel Technician Job Description

Volt is seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician to join our team in Hayward, CA. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks following manufacturer procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks
  • Diagnose vehicle issues by disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts
  • Inspect vital parts to ensure they are working properly
  • Create a repair plan based on your diagnosis
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in diesel repair and maintenance with heavy trucks and/or fleets
  • Strong knowledge of systems like A/C, brakes, emissions, and air, as well as diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • CDL and Allison Transmission experience is a plus
