Job Summary

Summit Medical Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization laboratory, including coronary and peripheral angiography, angioplasty, and stenting.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and imaging systems.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and education, including explaining procedures and results to patients and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) with a specialty in cardiovascular technology.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a catheterization laboratory setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
