GIS Analyst

**Job Title:** GIS Analyst

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced GIS Analyst to join our team at the City of La Habra, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of technical work related to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and the development, revision, and customization of maps on a computerized mapping system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creates and maintains spatial data in the City's Enterprise GIS
• Applies GIS techniques to develop internal and external reports
• Conducts data formatting relating to transit operations analyses
• Collects, updates, integrates, and documents geospatial data to existing datasets
• Communicates and collaborates with departments to address and resolve GIS-related issues
• Prepares and maintains comprehensive records and files

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Cartography, GIS, Geography, or a closely related field
• At least two years of work experience working in GIS
• Valid Class C California Driver's License, acceptable driving record, and evidence of insurance

Salary:** $25.00 - $32.00 Hourly
