Occupational Therapist NICU Specialist

About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist NICU, you will play a vital role in the care and rehabilitation of critically ill newborns. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify functional needs and develop individualized plans of care
- Implement and coordinate occupational therapy interventions to promote patient independence and mobility
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and care plans
Requirements
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Texas
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a NICU setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
