About the Role

Fairview Health Services is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac/Respiratory Intermediate Care Unit at our M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center – East Bank location in Minneapolis, MN.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse position is responsible for providing professional nursing care for patients following established standards and practices on a busy, fast-paced Progressive ICU.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians and staff in coordinating patient care
  • Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for all assigned patient population(s)
  • Perform responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines, and the MN Nurse Practice Act
  • Coordinate care with members of the healthcare team and delegate responsibilities to others as appropriate
Requirements:
  • MN RN License
  • BLS required
  • AD required
  • Preferred qualifications: BSN or higher, Certification in related specialty, One year of current medical/surgical with telemetry experience as an RN in a hospital setting, One year of Emergency Department, pediatric or adult critical care experience, Certification by the American Association of Critical Care Nursing or in a related specialty
