Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to focus on the creation of Windows services. This role is essential for enhancing our software solutions and ensuring robust performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Windows-based solutions, including in-depth troubleshooting and debugging of internally developed applications (utilizing Golang and Python).
  • Contribute to the enhancement of existing systems, improving scalability and participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with fellow engineers on software development, update and refine current applications, automate support processes, and document system functionalities.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills:
  • Proven experience in developing Windows services, including expertise in Windows Event Logging, Windows registry, WMI, Event Tracing for Windows (ETW), and Windows file system.

Preferred Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Golang and Python.
  • Additional skills in Windows kernel development and UNIX/LINUX environments are advantageous.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience, is required.

Typical Work Schedule:
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Potential for conversion to full-time employment.

Core Competencies:
  • A strong technical foundation in Computer Science.

Software Proficiency:
Experience with Golang and Python is essential, along with a solid understanding of event logging.
