POSITION SUMMARY:
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a safe environment, provide emotional and social support, and attend to the physical needs and comfort of residents.
You will deliver direct care to residents as assigned, in alignment with their care plans and under the guidance of your Supervisor. Additional duties may be assigned by community representatives.
You will adhere to all health, sanitation, and infection control policies while maintaining the standards of practice established by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.Education & Qualifications:
Must possess a current certification to work as a Nursing Assistant in good standing according to state laws, or meet the necessary requirements to work as a Nursing Assistant in your state.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.Applicants must be at least 18 years old (if 16 years old, must currently be enrolled in high school). Proficiency in English and the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions are essential.
Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and community staff. Observing proper safety and sanitation techniques is crucial. Flexibility to work scheduled hours based on the demands of the position is required. Applicants must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.Experience:
Prior experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
