Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Insurance Coordinator to join our team at MaxWell Medical. This role is crucial in the efficient management of insurance accounts, patient billing, and collections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and resolve insurance account discrepancies through daily follow-up and detailed documentation.
  • Follow up on claims status via phone and electronic platforms, addressing any issues to ensure timely reimbursement.
  • Conduct patient collections and manage delinquent accounts to support revenue cycle efficiency.
  • Collaborate directly with patients to clarify and resolve billing questions and discrepancies, always maintaining a compassionate and service-oriented approach.
  • Accurately document actions taken on accounts, monitor account trends, and regularly report daily statistics (EON Stats) to the Directors.
