We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Expert to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of aircraft mods and maintenance tasks, including repairs and installations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks on aircraft mechanical systems, ensuring timely and accurate completion of work.
- Provide work direction and guidance to assigned technicians, promoting high standards of quality and safety.
- Act as a technical expert on in-service aircraft, performing repairs and installations that require a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with inspection teams to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements.
- Properly identify and store customer property and equipment, following SOPs and JSAs when operating GSE.
- Assist in training new employees on CMPs, maintenance manuals, SRMs, IPC usage, flight test installations, and other relevant procedures.
- Participate in SMS initiatives, including investigations and participation in Site Safety Council.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 8 years of Aviation Maintenance experience, including 4 years of experience working on Gulfstream mid/large size aircraft.
- Corporate aircraft experience preferred.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate required.
- Valid Driver's License required.
