We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in stimulation, well completions, or related fields to join our faculty as a teaching professor at the associate level. This non-tenure track position, with a renewable term contract, is designed to provide practical, real-world knowledge and essential hands-on skills to aspiring engineers.
Responsibilities- Develop and instruct undergraduate and graduate courses related to well completions and associated fields.
- Supervise student projects and research initiatives.
- Offer valuable industry insights to enrich student learning experiences and capstone projects.
- Provide professional career advice and lead our ABET accreditation and continuous improvement process for Petroleum Engineering and GeoEnergy Engineering.
- Collaborate with industry partners to ensure our curriculum remains relevant and forward-thinking.
We are looking for an educator with a Ph.D. in Petroleum or Geological Engineering or a related discipline to enhance our faculty. The candidate must demonstrate a strong capability to teach and mentor students effectively and exhibit exemplary communication skills. At least ten years of industry experience is preferred.
