We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Medi Home Health Agency, a division of Medical Services of America, Inc. This is a Weekend Registered Nurse position that will work Friday 5:00pm – Monday 8:00am, providing care to our Home Health patients in Lexington, Winston Salem, and Greensboro, NC.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill, in accordance with the plan of treatment signed by the physician and make the initial evaluation visit to the client.
- Regularly reevaluate the nursing needs of the client, initiate, develop, implement, and make necessary revisions to the client's plan of care.
- Initiate diagnostic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing procedures as appropriate to the client's care and safety.
- Observe, record, and report the client's reaction to treatment and any change in the client's condition.
- Teach, supervise, and counsel the client and family regarding home nursing procedures and other care needs as appropriate to the client's condition.
- Completion of a nursing program from an accredited school or university required.
- Must be currently licensed as a RN in the state of NC.
- Minimum of one-year nursing experience required.
- Home Health experience strongly preferred.
- Valid Driver's License required.
