Job Title: HVAC Journeyman

Daikin Applied is seeking a skilled HVAC Journeyman to join our team. As a Journeyman, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC equipment, including chillers, air handlers, and other related systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC equipment, including chillers, air handlers, and other related systems.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Install, replace, and repair HVAC equipment, including chillers, air handlers, and other related systems.
  • Work with customers to understand their HVAC needs and provide solutions to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning.
  • 5+ years of related experience with increasing responsibility, or 7+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • State license or certifications as required by market.
  • EPA approved Universal Technician Certification required, as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in mentoring less experienced technicians.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software products.
  • Current first aid/CPR card, OSHA 10 Certification.
