Role Responsibilities:

As a Sushi Culinary Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing high-quality sushi for both dine-in and take-out customers
  • Maintaining rigorous food safety and quality standards
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering positive guest interactions
  • Demonstrating comprehensive menu knowledge and promoting daily specials
  • Keeping the sushi preparation area clean and well-organized
  • Assisting with opening and closing tasks
  • Embodying the core values of Trapper's Sushi
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or in a comparable culinary position
  • The ability to perform well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong multitasking capabilities
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (Culinary school diploma is preferred)
  • A valid Washington State Food Worker Card
Physical Requirements:

Candidates should be able to:

  • Lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Stand, walk, reach, lift, twist, and crouch throughout shifts
