Sutter Gould Medical Foundation, in collaboration with Sutter Health, is seeking a qualified board-certified Physician Assistant to join our Neurosurgery Department located in Modesto, CA. Our organization is a well-established multi-specialty group with approximately 400 providers, situated conveniently for access to various attractions in California.
Position Overview:
- Base Salary: $160,000
- Role: Neurosurgical Physician Assistant
- Supervision: Guidance from two experienced Neurosurgeons
- Team Composition: Collaborate with two Neurosurgeons and two Physician Assistants
- Specialties: Focus on general, spine, and brain neurosurgery
- Experience: Preferred but not mandatory
- Inpatient Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the Operating Room
- Conducting rounds and documentation
- Managing hospital floor and ICU patients
- Performing inpatient and emergency room consultations
- Outpatient Responsibilities:
- Conducting post-operative evaluations
- Following up with established patients
- Managing an average of 10-15 patients daily
- EHR System: Epic
- Group Stability: A stable and expanding medical group
