We are currently in search of a skilled Manager to oversee our Cash Application team. This role involves leading a dedicated group, ensuring adherence to company protocols, and refining processes to boost operational efficiency and accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with various departments.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation: Commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily functions of the Cash Application team, ensuring timely and precise application of all cash receipts.
  • Establish and uphold policies and procedures for cash application to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Analyze cash application metrics to identify trends, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular reviews of cash applications to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of cash application analysts, providing training, support, and performance assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with Finance, Accounts Receivable, and other departments to address payment discrepancies and streamline cash application processes.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on cash application metrics, performance, and trends for management review.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in cash application or accounts receivable management.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices related to cash application.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and standard tools such as Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on motivating and developing team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
