We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the CDH Observation Unit at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Collect and analyze patient data to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Direct and coordinate the care of patients, including delegating tasks to nursing assistants as needed.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in shared governance and committee work to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Evaluate and document patient responses to nursing interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a similar clinical setting
- ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and TNCC certifications
- Trauma Nurse Specialist (TNS) and Emergency Communications Registered Nurse certifications
