Job Description

Automotive Lot Attendant

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to fill the role of Automotive Lot Attendant. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the Sales Team by ensuring that all vehicles are prepared and presented in an optimal manner, contributing to the overall success of the dealership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain vehicles in a ready-to-show condition
  • Retrieve cars from inventory as required
  • Ensure all vehicles are fueled for deliveries and demonstrations
  • Clean and wash vehicles as necessary
  • Transport sold vehicles to the preparation center
  • Keep all vehicles showroom-ready
  • Oversee inventory management
  • Deliver vehicles to clients or other locations for additional services
  • Assist in conducting monthly physical inventory checks
  • Participate in weekly departmental meetings as needed

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the ability to drive a standard transmission vehicle. The qualifications listed below represent the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to customer service are essential. A positive attitude and a collaborative spirit are vital for success in this position.

Education and Experience

A High School Diploma or GED is required; one to two years of related experience and/or training is preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

A valid Operator's Driver's License is required (must be insurable and able to drive a standard transmission vehicle).
