Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk III to join our team at The Building People. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing management reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process financial entries and adjustments to the general ledger
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports
  • Assist with the creation, receiving, and processing of invoices and submittals
  • Reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank records
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to government personnel
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Basic methods and procedures of accounting, bookkeeping, and records management
  • Basic principles and practices of payroll functions and processing
  • Basic principles and practices of budget preparation
  • Basic principles and practices of audit functions
  • Excellent customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with modern office practices, methods, and computer equipment, including relevant software programs, is highly desirable.
