About the Job

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with IntelyCare, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of post-acute facilities, including Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs) and Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs). Your primary responsibilities will include assisting residents with daily living activities, such as mobility, personal hygiene, toileting, feeding, and other activities of daily living (ADLs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with mobility, personal hygiene, toileting, feeding, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Monitor residents throughout the shift and alert the broader nursing team to any concerns
  • Check temperature, blood pressure, and other vital signs, and report any abnormal events to supervising staff
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by changing linens and helping to clean residents' rooms, etc.
  • Move residents to and from wheelchairs, beds, and exam tables
  • Offer companionship and a compassionate, engaged ear to residents and their loved ones
  • Understand how to communicate with visitors, family members, and staff
Requirements
  • Current New Jersey Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and nursing care procedures
  • Effective organizational skills and communication skills
  • Appropriate bedside manner
