We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Rehabilitation Hospital of Southern New Mexico. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients recover from injuries or illnesses and regain their independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and develop treatment plans to address their specific needs.
  • Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions to help them regain strength, mobility, and function.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Mexico.
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
  • One year of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a rehabilitation setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
  • Demonstrated understanding of treatment costs and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency.
  • Leadership skills in delegating, organizing, and educating coworkers and staff.
