As a Delivery Driver with our company, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of our products to customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a box truck less than 26,000 pounds, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Pick up, drive, deliver, and unload products according to daily designated routes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including delivering products, unloading products, accepting payments, and recording payment information.
  • Monitor the need for maintenance or major repairs by completing pre- and post-trip inspection checklists for each trip.
  • Maintain a safe and clean operation by complying with company operational policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Interface with shipping and receiving personnel to ensure timely deliveries, including pulling orders, receiving, and putting away products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Authorized to work in the USA and at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving history.
  • Ability to pass a state Department of Transportation medical exam.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Some distribution supply experience preferred.
  • Some computer skills preferred, data entry skills a plus.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to consistently follow company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to read and complete instructions.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

  • Lifting: Frequent lifting over 50 pounds from ground to chest high.
  • Frequent squatting, bending, and twisting.
  • Sitting/driving for extended periods of time.
  • Able to read tickets and perform work listed.
  • Environment: Work in an environment that is not climate controlled. Temperatures range from extremely hot to extremely cold, depending on the season.
  • Vision (Near, distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception).
  • Sense of sound (Alarms, horns, and motorized equipment).
  • PPE: Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Safety Glasses, gloves).
