Housekeeping Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Specialist to join our team at Barnesville Hospital Association, Inc. in Barnesville, Ohio. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to maintaining a clean and healthy environment for our patients and staff.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team. They must also be physically able to perform cleaning tasks such as mopping, reaching, and bending, and be capable of wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods.

• This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition.
2. Clean all assigned areas, including patient rooms, exam rooms, public areas, toilets, procedure rooms, OR rooms, offices, and equipment.
3. Remove trash from all assigned areas.
4. Replenish paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in all locations of assigned areas.
5. Makes beds, following established cleaning procedures in all patient discharge rooms and on-call rooms.
6. Maintains assigned equipment in clean, working condition.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to read and follow written work assignments.
