Your Role with Us

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with Salem Health, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine examinations using appropriate techniques and delivering exceptional patient care. Your exceptional communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills will be essential in providing complete and accurate diagnostic information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine examinations using appropriate techniques

  • Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to provide complete and accurate diagnostic information
  • Tailor exams to meet the specific needs of pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients
  • Obtain quality exams and provide accurate diagnostic information

Background/Expertise
  • One (1) year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
  • Must have an active license with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI)
  • Must be registered in Nuclear Medicine with either the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire
  • Current BLS from the AHA required within 90 days of hire
  • ACLS required within 6 months of hire
  • Must pass a Basic Cardiac Monitoring class (offered at Salem Health) within 4 months of hire
