Position Summary
The Water Quality Operations Specialist will be responsible for the installation, monitoring, and operation of cutting-edge water treatment systems at various client locations. This role involves optimizing equipment performance, conducting routine maintenance, and managing inventory supplies.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and oversee industrial water treatment equipment and control systems in the field.
- Engage professionally with onsite clients and team members.
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors, clients, and colleagues.
- Adhere to all Clean Chemistry protocols and safety regulations.
- Comply with client-specific procedures and safety standards.
- Respond to automated monitoring alerts and system status updates.
- Prepare operational performance reports for clients.
- Assist in the aggregation, logging, and analysis of operational data.
- Provide field service support as required.
- Collaborate with the Clean Chemistry team to achieve operational success.
- Travel to various job sites as assigned.
- Work independently with minimal supervision after training.
- Arrive at job sites prepared and on time.
Qualifications
- Experience in water treatment processes.
- Background in oil and gas operations is advantageous.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Reliable transportation is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Demonstrated responsibility and integrity in previous roles.
- Familiarity with industrial automation equipment and programming tools.
- Experience with remote telemetry systems is a plus.
- Willingness to work after hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to travel and work at client sites, including outdoor locations in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements.
- Comfortable handling chemicals, including hazardous materials.
- Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Participate in random drug screening programs as required.
- Comply with all safety, health, environmental, and quality management system policies and procedures relevant to the position.
- Follow service orders as directed by the Operations Manager.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Ability to download and use a timekeeping application on a mobile device.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift frequently (up to 50 pounds).
- Capability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods.
- Must remain alert and awake during assigned shifts.
- Ability to work long hours with minimal supervision.
- Independently manage tasks in remote locations.
