Job Summary

The Snowcat Operator – Entry Level is a key role within our mountain operations team at Aspen Snowmass. As a Snowcat Operator, you will be responsible for the safe operation of a snowcat to create high-quality snow surfaces for skiing and riding.

This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about winter sports and have a strong interest in operating heavy equipment. If you are a team player with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Groom terrain for skiing and riding to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for our guests
  • Perform general maintenance of the snowcats and inform mechanics of any issues
  • Work effectively in a team environment to achieve common goals
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid, current unrestricted Driver's License required
  • Ability to understand directions and communicate effectively in English
  • Experience operating heavy equipment preferred
