Emergency Department Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at DVH United Health Services in Walton, NY. As a Staff Nurse Emergency Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing and addressing the physical and emotional needs of patients in the Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with hospital policies.
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, reporting any concerns or changes to the healthcare team.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current New York State Registered Nurse License.
- Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting is preferred.
- Professional certification in a related nursing specialty is also desirable.
