Job Summary:

The Cleaning Technician plays a crucial role in supporting remediation efforts for client contents. Key responsibilities include packing, moving, and cleaning items, as well as deodorizing and managing storage solutions. This role requires the use of specialized equipment and cleaning agents under supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and service equipment used in daily operations
• Conduct dry and wet mitigation/pre-cleaning following established procedures
• Assist in manipulating contents at client sites to facilitate remediation tasks
• Implement inventory management for client items in accordance with company protocols
• Safely wrap and package items to prevent damage during transport
• Efficiently load and unload items from transport vehicles
• Transport items to cleaning facilities for thorough cleaning and storage
• Comply with recognized safety standards
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and maintain cleanliness
• Adhere to company appearance standards and values

Qualifications:

• Experience in construction, restoration, moving, or remediation preferred
• Ability to identify product usage and disposal requirements with training
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle in compliance with company policy
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Exhibit a sense of urgency, professionalism, and a positive attitude
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comprehensive understanding of customer service principles

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent lifting of items exceeding 100 lbs
• Ability to access and navigate tight spaces

Working Conditions:

• Daily operation of motor vehicles for extended periods
• Climbing in and out of vehicles and navigating stairs
• Frequent operation of forklifts and hand tools
• Continuous movement including sitting, walking, bending, and lifting

Compensation: $19.00 per hour
