Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the HICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.

Requirements:

  • Current Maryland Registered Nurse License
  • American Heart Association BLS CPR certification
  • 2+ years of experience in the area of clinical expertise
  • Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field
