Air Brake Technician

We are seeking a skilled Air Brake Builder to join our team at Multi-Service Supply, a division of The Buncher Company, a trusted provider of railway car parts since 1976.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be able to perform tasks such as disassembling and cleaning valves and components, inspecting for wear or deficiencies, and reassembling to AAR specification.

• Disassemble and clean valves and components using hand tools, torque wrenches, power tools, and wire wheels.
• Inspect valves and components for signs of wear or deficiencies.
• Reassemble valves and torque parts to AAR specification.

• Previous mechanical experience preferred, with additional training provided.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and use measuring devices such as tapes and gauges.
• Ability to use critical thinking to logically identify problems.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs. throughout a shift.
