As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including painting, carpentry, siding repairs/replacement, glass replacement in doors and windows, minor plumbing, masonry, concrete repairs, and minor electrical work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds.
  • Use plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls or ceilings.
  • Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
  • Communicate and interact directly with customers and supervisors to inform them of unexpected or additional repairs and determine customer needs.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Ensure completed work meets quality control standards.
  • Make difficult diagnoses and suggest solutions and repairs to customers and supervisors.
  • Communicate with scheduler to update status of repairs and estimate completion dates.
  • Follow all Safety Procedures and Policies.
  • Maintain professionalism in both appearance and demeanor.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of facilities maintenance experience required.
  • Ability to learn a wide variety of building and ground maintenance required.
  • Knowledge of painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
  • May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
  • Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
  • Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
