Position Overview:


We are seeking a dedicated Patient Interviewer to facilitate the registration process for our healthcare services. This role is essential in ensuring that patients are accurately and efficiently registered for various hospital services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and process all necessary registration, billing, and related information from patients in various departments including Admissions, Outpatient, Radiology, and Emergency.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Review the registration process with patients and their families, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Promote a positive patient experience, serving as the first point of contact for the hospital.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Epic Insurance Systems is essential.
  • Proficient in verifying comprehensive insurance coverage, identifying patient liabilities, and managing point of service collections.
  • Familiarity with Siemens Invision Registration system, HDX Eligibility Verification Module, and Huron Ontrac Revenue Cycle Solutions Systems is required.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role is required.
  • Successful completion of a relevant training or internship program may be considered in lieu of experience.
