Construction Project Coordinator

Fairway Construction, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Engineer to join our team.

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

This is a traveling field position that requires the ability to work safely at job sites around ongoing construction activities and various weather conditions. The successful candidate will provide site liaison support for the superintendent and the construction team on inter-discipline subcontractor coordination and overall quality of work at job sites in field operations.

• Assist contractors in interpreting job designs and ensuring the job is constructed according to project plans.
• Coordinate the implementation of projects, ensuring they are being built correctly, and assist project controls, including budgeting, scheduling, and planning.
• Research city, county, and state construction codes and regulations as needed.
• Assist with evaluating and developing solutions to problems and questions from subcontractors and other workers on-site.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Construction Management or a related field and a minimum of 1 year of construction experience. Strong computer skills and knowledge of construction software such as Timberline and Microsoft Project are also required.

• OSHA training and GSWCC 1 certification.
• Experience working with 3rd party developers and state and local officials.
• Knowledge of interpreting architectural, engineering, and civil drawings.

The Construction Project Engineer will typically work from a field office trailer and will be required to travel to job sites throughout the Georgia Region, which includes GA, SC, and FL.
