About the Role

Carter's is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Internal Audit to join our team in Buckhead. As a key member of our Internal Audit department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive internal audit projects, including financial, compliance, operational, and retail audits
  • Assist in developing the annual internal audit plan and schedule
  • Own the planning and execution of internal audits, evaluating processes and controls, assessing risk, and providing independent evaluations
  • Continuously improve internal audit approaches, tools, and methodologies, and maintain an internal quality assurance and improvement program
  • Work on other ad hoc projects, investigations, and enterprise risk management initiatives
Requirements
  • 10+ years of internal audit, financial statement audit, and/or audit consulting experience
  • Strong knowledge of auditing practices, cross-functional relationship building, and project management
  • Working knowledge of key financial metrics and experience with audit software
  • Ability to present to various audiences and mentor team members
Preferred Qualifications
  • Retail industry experience
  • Experience with data analytics and data visualization tools
  • CPA, CIA, or CFE certification
