As a Wealth Management Consultant, you will be at the center of our operations, serving as a trusted collaborator to our Senior Financial Advisors and their clientele. Through your honed expertise, you will enhance both new and existing client connections, identifying business development prospects while learning from your Senior Advisors throughout the process. You will contribute to the growth and oversight of a prosperous wealth management practice, delivering outstanding service, guidance, and relationship management. If you are a licensed financial professional passionate about wealth management and eager to develop under the mentorship of an experienced advisor, this role may be ideal for you.
What You HaveRequired Qualifications:
- A valid and active Series 7 license is necessary (license may be obtained under a condition of employment through Branch Network Licensing Program)
- A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license is required (license(s) may be obtained under a condition of employment)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in the Financial Services Industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong candidates will demonstrate an ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize
- Capability to identify new relationship development opportunities
- Willingness to create, refresh, and deliver financial plans for clients in collaboration with your Senior Financial Advisors
- Ability to recognize and meet client needs while managing expectations
- Skill in building and maintaining effective cross-enterprise relationships
- Capability to become a Notary
- Strong candidates will also gain experience in updating and compiling client information through Schwab's internal customer relationship management (CRM) tool
- Willingness to organize local events as necessary
