Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled physician to provide exceptional emergency care in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital. The ideal candidate will either be trained in Family Medicine with ER experience or possess a specialization in Emergency Medicine. As the attending physician in the emergency department, you will collaborate with a team of nursing professionals to deliver high-quality healthcare services to our patients.

Qualifications

Education
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Medicine or School of Osteopathic Medicine.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Possession of a current DEA number.
  • Unrestricted medical license to practice.
Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Skills
  • Strong organizational and verbal communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and customer relations abilities.
  • Analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Excel and medical record charting.
Mental and Emotional Requirements
  • Ability to manage stress and make decisions under pressure.
  • Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • Exposure to blood and body fluids.
  • Potential exposure to communicable diseases.
Physical Requirements
