This is an academic position responsible for teaching, assessing, planning, implementation, and evaluation of assigned courses, as well as the curriculum within the specific division.

The successful candidate will be responsible for service to the College and scholarship activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach assigned courses with a focus on student-centered learning and assessment.
  • Develop and implement curriculum within the specific division.
  • Evaluate student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Remain current with trends, issues, and best practices in nursing education.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of student academic achievement and other evaluative processes.
  • Serve on college committees as appointed or elected.
  • Pursue professional development and scholarly activities.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field.
  • Active and unencumbered Ohio RN licensure.
  • Two-three years of teaching experience with a focus on student-centered learning.
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical, laboratory, or classroom settings.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with educational technology.

Bon Secours Mercy Health offers a comprehensive compensation package, including:

  • An estimated salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
