Merchandise Coordinator

The Merchandising Specialist will be responsible for maintaining a visually appealing and well-stocked sales floor, ensuring a positive customer experience. This role involves completing sales preparations, greeting customers, and ensuring the retail showroom presents a professional and inviting appearance.

• Greet customers on the sales floor, assist them in locating merchandise, and direct them to a parts specialist if necessary.
• Check in, price, and put up stock, ensuring accurate inventory management.
• Keep merchandise on display floor fronted, full, and assist with O'Reilly Image Maker responsibilities on a daily basis.
• Change displays according to company guidelines, update planograms, complete price label changes, and ensure "sale" signs are in place.
• Remove all sale material when sales end and restore original pricing.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
• Work with the manager to complete store weekly inventory and merchandising tasks.
• Occasionally serve as a cashier or drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries when business needs dictate.

• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to clearly read, write, and match numbers and letters from various sources.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

• Previous stocking experience.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
