**Job Description:**

As a seasoned professional, you will play a critical role in promoting an agile, robust, interoperable, and collaborative tactical information environment through the exercise of DoD policy and oversight.

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in tactical communications and contribute to the success of the DoD CIO Tactical Data Link Modernization team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement TDL modernization strategies to enhance Joint, Allied and Partner interoperability.
  • Craft and coordinate TDL policy to achieve modernization goals and drive results.
  • Foster effective collaboration with key stakeholders, including Combatant Command, Service and Agency Staff Officers.
  • Drive innovative solutions to facilitate the tactical interoperability of transport networks and improve communications network planning.
  • Lead complex projects, coordinating with teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and oversee TDL agreements for sharing communications systems and services with allies.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key allies and partners to advance cooperative development efforts and demonstrations.
  • Prioritize and manage competing tasks and priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Expertly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
