Window Treatment Installation Specialist

H2H Blinds is seeking a skilled Window Treatment Installation Specialist to join our team in Lawrenceville, GA. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality window treatment installations to meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor construction sites to assess window installation opportunities and record window measurements according to company specifications.
- Install window treatments in multi-family and commercial settings, requiring lifting and carrying materials up flights of stairs.
- Accurately record window measurements for company documentation and job preparation, submitting to the Scheduling Coordinator on a daily basis.
- Perform general window treatment installation procedures, including securing brackets and hardware, leveling, and ensuring proper function of treatments for various applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of experience in new home construction and/or installation services.
- Prior experience in window treatment installation, including blinds, roller shades, and plantation shutters, is a plus.
- OSHA 30 certification is a plus but not required.
- Thorough understanding of window types, terms, and installation mounting, including single-hung, double-hung, double, triple, inside vs. outside mount, etc.
- Ability to operate basic carpentry equipment and hand tools to modify blind stock into odd and custom sizes.
- Ability to work independently and with partners, communicate effectively and professionally with team members, and perform other material transport and delivery duties as assigned.
- Overnight trips may be required but are spread out over the course of a few weeks.
- Cellular phone with integrated camera and emailing features is required.
- Work is performed while standing/moving for long periods of time, and may require bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching.
- Ability to lift and/or carry medium weights up to 50 pounds, occasionally up and down ladders.
- Exposure to elements of weather, including hot/cold seasonal changes, humidity, and dust/fumes.
- Traveling to installation jobsites may require extended drive times of 4+ hours.
- A GPS Monitoring device is equipped in every vehicle for tracking and driving hours.
