Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Geisinger's New Advanced Acute Care Unit in Scranton, PA.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a salary of $65,000-$75,000 per year, depending on experience. As an LPN on our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute data to assessments as established by scope of practice and unit standards.
  • Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patient and family throughout the continuum of care.
  • Reinforce patient and family education, family needs and discharge planning throughout hospitalization.
  • Provide direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies according to policy and procedure.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and plan of care based upon patient response to interventions.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required)
  • Certification(s) and License(s): Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body; Licensed Practical Nurse - Default Issuing Body
