Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at CCS. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing mental health services to Special Operations Forces (SOF) personnel and their families.

Job Summary:

The LCSW will function within an operational unit, providing behavioral health care services to SOF personnel. This includes conducting applied research and clinical investigations, applying social work procedures and techniques, and consulting with medical personnel and military commanders as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy, as well as alcohol and drug treatment evaluations.
  • Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, and military commanders as required.
  • Maintain accurate and current notes in electronic medical records and produce reports of evaluation and/or treatment.
  • Participate in military-specific training and activities, such as security clearances and use of DoD clinical practice guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) or equivalent degree from a graduate school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
  • Current, unrestricted clinical license to independently practice social work in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' CURRENT experience in the independent practice of clinical social work in a mental health setting.
  • Fluent oral and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior military and/or SOF experience.
  • Experience working in a Government setting, such as DOD or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) MTF.
  • Prior experience in Substance Abuse/Disorder Treatment.
