Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Origination Processor to join our team at QNB Bank. As a key member of our loan processing team, you will be responsible for the processing of consumer and mortgage loans from origination to funding.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Process consumer and mortgage loans in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Bank policies and procedures.
  2. Perform initial file review to check for completeness and process loans through Automated Underwriting Systems and Internal Underwriting systems.
  3. Input loan data accurately and assist loan officers with the calculation of Debt to Income and Loan to Value ratios.
  4. Track and gather necessary documents and clear any outstanding loan conditions in conjunction with the underwriter and loan officers.
  5. Order appraisals, title work, and flood certifications, and send necessary borrower notifications.
  6. Complete compliance, loan quality, and fraud detection checks on each borrower.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely records of loan fees and perform G/L reconcilement.
  8. Update loan files and input updated information in the loan origination system.
  9. Prepare loan files for boarding in the loan origination system.
  10. Produce scheduled management reports, including the value of pipeline.
  11. Coordinate closings with title companies and customers.
  12. Ensure a positive borrower experience and maintain open communication with others in the department.
Requirements
  1. Thorough understanding of Retail and Mortgage loan requirements.
  2. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of real estate, automobile, and unsecured lending practices, including federal and state regulations.
  3. Proficiency in Automated Underwriting Systems and Microsoft Office.
  4. Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a high-pressure environment and maintain a pipeline of 30+ loans.
  5. Ability to calculate and apply financial underwriting ratios.
  6. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in secondary market mortgage and consumer loan processing preferred.
  7. High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred but not required.
